About Dwight
The Authentic Creative.
I'm an executive coach, facilitator and speaker in Dallas, and I help people trust their voice and bring it into the room.
My Story
Where I come from.
I served in the military first. My corporate career came after, and it has lasted more than 20 years.
So I know what it takes to try to fit in there. Along the way, I came to believe that tomorrow's real advantage at work is people who show up honestly. When they feel safe and aligned, they contribute more fully.
I hold an MBA with a concentration in organizational psychology and development. I'm also an ICF ACC credentialed coach and a Certified xchange Guide.
Here in Dallas, I completed the Business Council for the Arts' one-year Leadership Arts Institute. It gave me a special area of expertise in arts nonprofits.
You'll find me most often on LinkedIn, where I write a weekly newsletter called The Creative Leader's Edge, and on the For the Love of Creatives podcast.
What I Do
How I can help.
Facilitate
I treat the way a group gathers as part of the work. Sessions are built around your goals, with room to think and talk together.
Coach
For individuals and teams who've outgrown an old way of showing up and want to trust their own voice again.
Speak
Keynotes on imposter syndrome and trusting your authentic voice.
Who I work with
Maybe this sounds familiar.
If you work in HR or L&D, you probably have a specific problem to solve for your people. If you're a creative leader, the problem may be quieter: a sense that you've outgrown the way you've been showing up.
